Emerson mass flowmeter F series sensor installation method uses common operating practices to minimize the torque and bending load on the process joint.

1. Lifting the sensor through electronic components or purge connectors may damage the equipment.
2. In order to reduce the risk of liquid accumulation in the housing of electronic components, when positioning the transmitter or sensor junction box, do not place its conduit opening upward.
Install the sensor.
Do not use sensors to support pipes. The sensor does not require external support. The flange will provide support for the sensor in all directions.

Connect extended electronic components

If the sensor you want to install has extended electronic components, you need to install the extension tube to the sensor housing. The extended core processor is matched with the specific sensor at the factory. Put each core processor together with the sensor that comes with it. Keep the extender and feedthrough tube clean and dry. Moisture or impurities in the extender or through pipe may damage the electronic components and cause measurement errors or flowmeter failure.
