Coprocessor Module

The coprocessor module features its own microprocessor, the HD 64180, operating with a clock frequency of 10 MHz. It includes the following functions:

• Memory:

  • 384 kbyte static memory
  • CMOS-RAM and EPROM on 2 ICs
  • Battery buffer for the RAMs on the power supply monitoring module F 7131

• Interfaces:

  • 2 RS 485 (half-duplex) interfaces with galvanic isolation and an independent communication processor
  • Transmission rates (set by software): 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 bps
  • Capability to use values set on the CU via DIP switch

• Dual Port RAM: For fast memory access to the second central module

• Space Requirement: 4 TE

• Operating Data: 5 V DC, 360 mA

• Interface 1:

  • Settings S1 and S2
  • RS 485 enabled on S1, disabled on S2

• Interface 2:

  • Settings S3 and S4
  • RS 485 enabled on S3, disabled on S4
