Product Description:

The Industrial Ethernet Switch IS420ESWBH3A is a component of the Mark VIe Safety Control System developed by General Electric. It features sixteen copper ports, each supporting 10/100Base-TX RJ45 connections. The primary function of the switch is to operate as a level one Ethernet switch, with a focus on buffering multicast and broadcast packets. It is designed to have sufficient buffer space to accommodate one packet per port. In scenarios where multiple incoming streams are directed to the switch, it can only accept one stream at a time and will buffer the rest for subsequent transmission.

The IS420ESWBH3A switch is equipped with LED indicators. These include a power LED, as well as activity and link LEDs. The link LED indicates the speed of the connection: solid yellow for a 10 MB link and solid green for a 100 MB link. No LED indicates no link. The activity LED flashes green for full-duplex activity and flashes yellow for half-duplex activity.

This switch offers flexible mounting options, including DIN-rail mounting in parallel or perpendicular orientations, as well as panel mounting if necessary. DIN-rail mounting requires specific clips (259B2451BVP1 and 259B2451BVP4).
