Product Description

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL753 is 12/24 volt DC, 0.5A Positive Logic Output module. Designed for the Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller, this output module is equipped with 32 discrete outputs. These outputs have been set up in four separate isolated groups of eight. Each group has its own dedicated common. As they are sourcing type outputs, they switch the loads on the positive side of the power supply to supply current to the load. The outputs on this module are capable of switching loads from +12 through +24 VDC (+20%, –15%). They can also source current to a maximum value of 0.5 amps per point. In the group commons, there are user I/O connectors. Each connector has two pins, which can handle up to 3A current. When the user is connecting the group common, it is advised that connections be made to both pins.

Each group of output points can drive different loads, however there must be an external power source provided by the user to make this happen. There are opto-couplers on this module, which provide backplane isolation between the field side and logic side. Like many other output modules by GE Fanuc, this one is compatible with the Series 90-30 PLC system. To implement it, users can install it in any I/O slot of the baseplate. On the front of the module, there are two male 24-pin connectors. These allow for connections to the user load devices. Output groups A and B have an interface provided by the connector on the right side, while groups C and D use the connector on the left side.
