Bently Nevada 991-06-XX Thrust Transmitter
Description
Description:
The 991-06-XX thrust transmitter is a 2-wire, loop-powered device designed to interface with a 3300 NSv proximity probe and its matching extension cable. It converts the signal into a 4-20 mA output that is proportional to the shaft’s axial position.
Features:
- Integrated Proximitor Sensor: Operates without the need for an external unit.
- Dynamic Signal Output: Provides a non-isolated dynamic vibration and gap voltage signal for diagnostics.
- Non-Interacting Zero and Span Potentiometers: Allows for loop adjustment.
- Test Input Pin: Enables quick verification of loop signal output using a variable DC voltage source.
- Power-Up Inhibit Circuit: Prevents signal errors caused by line voltage transients.
- Not OK/Signal Defeat Circuit: Avoids high outputs or false alarms due to a faulty proximity probe or loose connection.
- Mounting Options: Offers choices of DIN-rail clips or bulkhead mounting screws.
- Potted Construction: Suitable for environments with high humidity (up to 100% condensing).
- Compatibility: Works with the 3300 NSv proximity probe, making it suitable for installation in small areas with minimal clearance.
Specifications:
- Measurement Range: Full-scale range of 0.6 mm (0.024 inches).
- Output Signal: 4-20 mA.
- Power Supply: 12 to 36 VDC.
- Operating Temperature: -40 to 85°C.
- Humidity: 0 to 100% RH (non-condensing).
Applications:
- Centrifugal Air Compressors: Monitors thrust bearing wear and detects imbalances.
- Small Pumps, Motors, or Fans: Provides a simple 4-20 mA proportional axial displacement signal for machinery control systems.
