The high-bright display modules from the 2711P series are built especially for industrial settings and they are qualified for usage in hazardous locations. These Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation display modules feature built-in temperature sensors that adjust the intensity of a backlight in order to keep cabinet temperature within their approved limits. The 2711P display modules tolerate ambient temperatures of up to 55 degrees Celsius (131 degrees Fahrenheit). Under the category of high-bright display modules, Allen-Bradley offers units from the PanelViev Plus, PanelView Plus CE, and the PanelView Plus 6 product families. With logic modules and communication modules, these high-quality display modules form components that are very reliable and flexible. The display modules, along with logic modules, serve as a base configured units and each of these modules can be ordered separately. Usually, these display modules are delivered with all of the necessary items such as mounting equipment, power terminal block, software, and instructions for installation.
In order to work properly, these display modules need minimum mounting clearances (top, bottom, side, back) of 51 x 102 x 25 x 25 millimeters (2 x 4 x 1 x 1 inches). These displays are 363 millimeters (14.30 inches) wide and 282 millimeters (11.12 inches) high. The weight of displays with logic modules installed is around 3.2 kilograms (7.1 pounds). The color active matrix TFT LCD display modules come with a 12.1-inch (307.3-millimeter) diagonal measurement and display areas of 246 x 184 millimeters (9.7 x 7.2 inches). In addition to that, the display resolution is 800 x 600 pixels and the display has a luminance of 1000 candela per square meter. The PanelView display modules have analog-resistive touchscreens and backlights that are not replaceable. These units are intended for use on a DC power supply with a voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC. The power consumption rating is up to 70 Watts (2.9 Amps) at 24 Volts DC.
