The Allen-Bradley 1606 Power Supplies series is a series that covers a wide range of different power supplies. The 1606 Power Supplies can be basic switched mode power supplies, essential switched mode power supplies, compact switched mode power supplies, and performance switched mode power supplies, in addition to the older standard switched mode power supplies that the newer versions can be used to upgrade and replace. The basic switched mode power supplies are as much as 95.2% efficient and designed to have a long operating life. They are rated for 10 Amps, 5 Amps, or 24 Volts DC power. One of the key features of the essential switched mode power supplies is that they can provide machines with a 120% power boost. Their output power ratings are 80 to 960 Watts and their voltage ratings can be 12, 24, or 48 Volts DC.
The Allen-Bradley 1606 Power Supplies from the compact switched mode power supplies product line are designed to save installation space or to fit into smaller than average installation spaces in systems where only limited installation space is available. They have the same ratings and specifications as the standard size 1606-XL power supplies but they can also handle low-power industrial applications. The 1606 Power Supplies from the performance switched mode power supplies product line are also compact power supplies, but they are built with a new technology that allows them to give machines a 150% power boost that the standard compact switched mode power supplies cannot provide. The use DC power and are available in DC output voltage ratings of 5, 12, 15, 24, or 48 Volts DC with output power ratings of 80 Watts to 960 Watts.

The IS200VCMIH2BEE uses SIFT voting (software-implemented fault tolerance.)Data is broadcast to all remote racks in one packet. VCMI boards in those remote locations extract the appropriate packet data. The IS200VCMIH2BEE is a double-sided board. The rear side of the board is primarily populated with resistors and capacitors. The front side of the board is more complex, and includes connector ports (including two backplanes,) inductors/chokes, tp test points, and integrated circuits.The attached front faceplate has three IONet ports as well as a single male serial port. It has one reset button, two set screws, and four sets of LED indicators (a set of 3, a set of 6, a set of 8, and another set of 3.) The faceplate is also marked with the company logo and with the board number.
