ABB's New Generation Of Collaborative Robots

What ABB will show is the new generation of collaborative robot series GoFa™ and SWIFTI™. The two new collaborative robots are complementary to the dual-arm YuMi® and the single-arm YuMi® by virtue of higher load and faster speed.
GoFa™ and SWIFTI™ were launched at the new product launch ceremony held by ABB at its Shanghai plant on February 24 this year. They are a new generation of collaborative robots launched by ABB following YuMi and single-arm YuMi. These four products together constitute the ABB industry. The leading collaborative robot product portfolio has a wide range of applications, with loads ranging from 0.5 kg to 5 kg.
Among them, the new 6-axis GoFa™ CRB 15000 collaborative robot has a world-leading working range of 950 mm and a maximum operating speed of 2.2 meters per second. It can provide efficient solutions for a variety of applications, including material handling, machine tool loading and unloading, Component assembly, packaging, inspection and laboratory automation. It can meet the increasing demand of users for high-load collaborative robots, help companies improve production efficiency and increase production flexibility.

The GoFa™ robot has a total of six joints, each of which is equipped with smart torque and position sensors, with outstanding power and force limiting performance. Once these joints sense the accidental contact between the robot arm and the operator, they will stop the robot arm within a few milliseconds to avoid injury to the operator.
